What do you get?
The add-on arrives fully assembled, flashed and tested — including the RF module (CC1101). No technical knowledge needed; a flat-head screwdriver is all it takes.
RF module (CC1101) — included
This lets you receive the RF signals from your Itho devices (such as remotes). Your home automation then shows the remote status and — with a CO2/humidity sensor — the readings and, where available, the battery status. You can also connect remotes directly to the add-on and set the speed and timer per button, or control on exact CO2 and humidity values.
Option: temperature/humidity sensor
Newer models (cream-white lid, “CVE-S” in the name) already have a temperature and humidity sensor, which the add-on reads out automatically. If your model doesn’t have one, you can fit it yourself (see the manual). Order the sensor together with the add-on and we’ll include the cable you need.
Please note: Optima Inside (built-in CO2 sensor)
Some CVEs have a built-in CO2 sensor (model CVE-S Optima Inside). Itho gives that internal sensor priority, which makes the control options slightly more limited than on models without a built-in CO2 sensor. This does not apply to CVEs with an external RFT-CO2 sensor (“Optima”, without “Inside”). More details about the CO2 sensor.
